A former governor of Oyo State, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, has said he is happy that the rancour between him and the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, was resolved before he died.
Sen Ladoja said he had series of misunderstandings with the late monarch during his tenure as governor of the state due to their individual principles.

The former governor who spoke during his condolence visit to the Oyo palace, said the late monarch served many governors in the state meritoriously, describing him as one of the best persons to consult when seeking advice.
In her contribution, the wife of the immediate past governor of the state, Dr Florence Ajimobi, said she used to consult the late Alaafin for advice after the death of her husband.
Also, Alhaja Abosede Adedibu, widow of the late strongman of Ibadan politics, Chief Lamidi Adedibu, described the late alaafin as a great pillar of support since the death of her husband.
The South West women leader of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) told journalists that Oba Adeyemi’s death was “the fall of a pillar of support to my family”.
