President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed confidence that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will win in Zamfara State in the 2023 general elections.
Buhari, who was represented by the Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Prof Isa Ali Pantami, said this when he visited the Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign office in Gusau.
Pantami, who was conducted round the office by the state’s coordinator of the council, Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa, commended the arrangement put in place to ensure the party’s victory in the state.
In a statement, Zamfara APC Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Idris Gusau, said the president assured people of the state that with APC’s Tinubu as the next president the nation would witness overwhelming transformation.

The president thanked the people of Zamfara and all Nigerians for the support he had been enjoying in his leadership and urged Nigerians to continue to support the APC by ensuring its victory at all levels in the coming elections.
Earlier, while welcoming Pantami and his delegation, Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle said Zamfara State was the home of the APC, noting that opposition parties seemed non-existent in the state.
