I’m back as leader of Yoruba nation agitators — Akintoye

The back and forth over Yoruba nation leadership has continued as the leader of the self-determination group, Ilana Omo Oodua, Prof. Banji Akintoye, returned on Thursday following the interventions of some Yoruba leaders.

Akintoye had resigned in December 2022 and handed over to his deputy, Prof. Wale Adeniran, who also stepped down last week and said he was quitting the struggle for the actualisation of Yoruba nation.
