A chairmanship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos, Mrs. Beatrice Omotayo Tugbobo yesterday called for consensus ahead of the state congress of the party even as she promised to take the party to higher level if given the chance.
Tugbobo assured party faithful in the state that she will turn around the fortunes of the party if elected as chairman.
Daily Trust reports that she is the latest aspirant to emerge as the number of aspirants continues to swell ahead of the election. So far, no fewer than three aspirants have emerged itching to take over from the current Caretaker committee Chairman, Hon. Tunde Balogun.
Mrs. Tugbobo, a grassroots politician and a community leader with vast experience, stated that being a female candidate she will use her expertise to revive the much needed spirit of patriotism and bring about stability.
