Kaduna State Governor-elect, Senator Uba Sani, has promised to be the people’s servant in the state.
He also thanked the electorate for giving him the opportunity to serve them as the state governor.
Sani made the statement shortly after receiving his certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the state.
He also assured the residents that he would be fair and just to all irrespective of their religion, ethnic or tribal affiliations.

“Let me thank Allah for this great day and also let me thank the people of the state for this responsibility. I will be the servant of the people. Whether you voted for me or not, I will be equal to all irrespective of religious, ethnic or tribal affiliations,” he said.
Uba said he would do his best to implement the seven points agenda with focus on safety, security, agriculture, trade and investment, education, among others
He commended INEC for its dedication and commitment to peaceful election and urged the opposition parties to join him to move the state forward.
He also appreciated the security agencies for maintaining law and order in the state during the elections.
Sani congratulated the members-elect urging them to work with him for the development of the state.
He also thanked the party leaders for their support.
In his remarks, INEC Commissioner in Charge of Kaduna, Nasarawa, Niger and FCT, Mohammed Haruna, said the governor-elect, deputy governor-elect as well as 29 elected lawmakers would be issued certificates of return.
According to him, five constituencies would not be given certificates because their elections were cancelled.
He further congratulated all elected officials on their victories.
