Celebrity doctor and philanthropist, Ikenna Ihim, has been appointed brand ambassador to Jaanuu Scrubs, one of the leading scrubs and medical apparel companies in the United States.

This was made known by the director, Social Media and Influencer Marketing Manager, Maila Bourisk, after his unveiling as an ambassador.

When Dr. Ihim is not in the hospital, he spends a lot of his time in the media, educating and inspiring young African Americans on how to tackle the challenges of racism, especially those aspiring to become future healthcare providers.

He is also well known for providing tips on how foreign born and trained physicians can transition into practicing medicine in the United States.

His fashion sense has caught the eyes of fans on social media, so it is no surprise that he would collaborate with a company that makes fashionable clothing for medical professionals.

Dr. Ihim found it most appealing that Jaanuu Scrubs actively supports the black community against racial injustices.

Jaanuu Scrubs released a statement on their social media account that they “would be sharing content from black healthcare professionals, creators, business owners and artists to #amplifymelanatedvoices.

“We would be nothing without this community”.
