The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Usman Alkali Baba, on Tuesday, commissioned the new Mabushi Divisional Police Headquarters in Abuja.

City & Crime learnt that the new station was built and donated by Stallion Property and Development Limited as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Baba, who was represented by the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Zone 7, Kayode Egbetokun, appreciated the company for donating the edifice to the police.

The IG described the donation as a benevolent gesture, which he noted was highly worthy of emulation by all and sundry.

Also speaking, the FCT Commissioner of Police, Sadiq Idris Abubakar, enjoined the officers to put the building into proper use, especially in ensuring that crime and criminality were brought to the barest minimum in the area.
