The Founder of Mark D’Ball Basketball Championship, Igoche Mark, has extended his heartfelt sympathy to the Air Warriors Basketball Club following a recent bus accident on their way to a tournament in Lagos.
Although no death was recorded in the unfortunate incident which occurred near Gwagwalada, in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), it left players, coaches, and fans of the club with severe injuries.
In a letter to Abdulmajid Solademi, Chairman of Air Warriors Basketball club, Mark offered words of comfort and encouragement, emphasizing the importance of unity and resilience in overcoming challenges.
He highlighted the outpouring of support from the sports community and expressed confidence in the Air Warriors’ ability to emerge stronger from the road accident.

“Together, with determination and a shared commitment to unity, we all stand with the Air Warriors Basketball Club to support them to rise above this setback.
“The accident scuttled Air Warriors plans for the national finals of the Zenith Bank Basketball championship but I thank God that no life was lost.
“As they embark on their journey to recovery, they should do so with the assurance that they are not alone, as all well-meaning Nigerians are with them in prayers for quick healing,” said Igoche.
Chairman Solademi, in turn, expressed gratitude for the support received and acknowledged the power of unity in times of crisis.
