Igbo association re-affirms Eze Igbo Abuja suspension

The Association of Eze Igbo in the 19 northern states and Abuja has endorsed and reaffirmed the suspension of Eze Ibe Nwosu, Eze Igbo Abuja, from its membership for alleged fragrant display of arrogance and disrespect to constituted authorities.

The association considered the actions unbecoming of a traditional ruler and detrimental to the interest, wellbeing and unity of Ndigbo, not only in Abuja but the entire northern Nigeria.

According to a communiqué issued by the chairman, Eze, Dr. Pampas Nwahiwe, Eze Igbo Minna, Niger State, and General Secretary, Eze Professor Jerome Obilom, Eze Igbo, Jos, Plateau State, respectively, the association said in his place, Ezeudo Uche Egenti, who is the Ezeudo of Airport District Abuja and President of Ndi Ezeudos in 19 northern states and Abuja, was mandated to oversee the activities of the association concerning Ndigbo in FCT.
