Jordan Ifueko is a writer of fantasy and young adult fiction and author of the New York Times bestseller, ‘Raybearer.’ She is a Nigerian American and also writes short stories.
Oghenechovwe Donald Ekpeki is an award-winning Nigerian speculative fiction writer and editor.
The British Science Fiction Awards, a production of the British Science Fiction Association, have been presented annually since 1970. The awards are voted on by members of the British Science Fiction Association and by the members of Eastercon, the national science fiction convention, held since 1955.
The longlists for work done in 2021 in the different categories were revealed on January 22. ‘Redemptor’ by Jordan Ifueko was shortlisted in the Best Fiction for Young Readers category while ‘O2 Arena’ by Oghenechovwe Donald Ekpeki was shortlisted in the Best Short Fiction category.
