Ever since popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, revealed that she is married to filmmaker, Kazim Adeoti, controversies have trailed their union most especially because the film producer had been married with kids.
Moreso, there has been exchange of words between the actress and the first wife of the filmmaker on social media, the most recent being a claim that Mercy Aigbe had been sleeping with the filmmaker since her last child was barely five months old.

Amidst the accusaiton and counter accusation, an old video showing the actress advising young ladies to squander the money of their married lover has surfaced on the internet. In the video, the actress is seen telling young girls to ensure they neglect chocolates and flowers from their married lover but opt for cars and houses.
She said, “You had better be cashing out. Secure, the bag…. You know what I mean… get that money because that man is not yours; sis, he aint yours. He belongs to another woman so please, it is bad enough that you are dating a married woman, but if you are it had better be worth it. Do not collect chocolate or flower as gift from a married man. If you do, your head need to be examined. Na me talk am. If you are dating a married man, chop his money.
“Collect his money because that man is already married. Some stupid women will be dating married men and be doing love. Sis, he is not yours, he belongs to another woman so use your brain. If you are dating a married man make sure you are in it for the material things you are going to get from him. So you see today, make sure the gift you are getting from that your married man or boyfriend is either a car; which has to be a Benz (yes, join the Benz gang), house.” (sic)
