Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Benin camp have appealed to governments, organizations and individuals to provide food and educational materials for them.
The coordinator, Pastor Solomon Folunsho, who made the call while speaking with journalists, lamented the shortage of food items, among others in the camp.
He said some of relief materials that included food, clothing, medicine, and other essential items sent from Germany were still being held back by shipping companies for over 12 months.
Over 2,000 persons displaced by insurgents in the North-East are seeking refuge at the camp, located at the International Christian Center for Mission in Ughogua, Edo state.
