The Executive Vice Chairman of Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, Professor Umar Garba Danbatta, says ICTs and telecommunications have been great enablers of financial transactions and the connections between ICTs and financing with relation to tourism and the culture industry is amazing and can be seen in many ways.
Danbatta stated this in a keynote speech delivered on his behalf by Reuben Mouka, NCC Head of Public Relations, at the 5th WAKA ABOUT ICT and FINANCE CONFERENCE in Lagos.
The keynote address which focused on ICTs and Finance as a catalyst for tourism and culture in a diversified economy recalled how new technologies and their deployment have exemplified the great role ICTs play in the financing of culture and tourism industry in Nigeria and in other jurisdictions.
