The International Criminal Court (ICC) has been urged to investigate the Lekki tollgate shootings during the recent EndSARS protests in Lagos and ensure that anyone found culpable are brought to justice anywhere in the world.
A former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Timi Frank, made the call in a statement on Thursday, while reacting to Cable Network News (CNN) report on the October 10 incident.

Frank said he was optimistic that the CNN report would aid ICC in prosecuting those who perpetrated the dastardly act.
He lamented that despite the international opprobrium that trailed the Lekki tollgate massacre, the Federal Government has continued to threaten Nigerian youths by vowing not to allow a similar protest rather than show remorse.
He called on the genuine #EndSARS protesters not to give in to arrests, intimidation, harassment, court trials and imprisonments in their struggle to make the country a better place for all Nigerians.
The Nigerian Army has denied that its personnel shot live bullets at the protesters, but fired blank ammunition in the air.
