Permanent Secretary, Political and Economic Affairs Office, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mallam Shehu Ibrahim, has resumed.
He promised an open and transparent administration devoid of secrecy and favoritism.

The new permanent secretary spoke in Abuja Wednesday while receiving the handover notes from Mrs Veronica Agugu, who had hitherto overseen the office.
He also said all staff would be given the opportunity to make inputs.
He thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for giving him the opportunity to contribute to the nation’s development.
He promised not to let the president and the SGF down.
He said he would take time to study the handover notes and get some other briefings from the various departments.
“We’re going to operate as a transformational leader and not a transactional leader. We’re going to see how we can be able to crack the stones and bring out water,” he said.
Ibrahim, who said he would hit the ground running, commended the Head of Service of the Federation, Folashade Yemi-Esan, for her visionary leadership and promised to assist in deepening the reforms she had initiated.
