A former Governor of Delta State, James Ibori, has assured Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa of his unflinching support as he flagged-off his re-election bid at Oghara in Ethiope West Local Government Area of the state.
Speaking at the Oghara township stadium on Friday, Ibori said he would give Okowa spiritual and political support needed to return him for a second term.
He re-echoed the subsisting governorship rotation arrangement in the state since 1999 and charged Okowa and his Anioma kinsmen of Delta North to leverage on the political sentiment.
