Ibi lauds contract for bridge

The Ibi community in lbi LGA of Taraba State has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for the award of the contract for construction of a bridge in the area.

The member representing Ibi Constituency in the Taraba State House of Assembly, Alhaji Lawal Abdulkarim, said on behalf of the community that they were happy over the approved funds for the project.

He said community and the entire Taraba people had been agitating for the bridge over the River Benue in Ibi for many years. Abdulkarim said the bridge when constructed would shorten trips to Abuja, Jos, Kaduna, Kano and Bauchi.
