After the recent declaration of Governor Seyi Makinde’s support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, family heads (mogajis), baales and other notable groups in Oyo State have signed a compendium to support the APC presidential candidate.
The groups under the auspices of Rontex for BAT Political Signature convened by Otunba Ronke Carew and hosted by Chief Dotun Sanusi, said that Tinubu was the most competent among the candidates.

Speaking at the event attended by Agbekoya, O’dua Peoples Congress(OPC), Fasehun’s faction, Irorun O’dua and non-indigenes represented by people from Akwa Ibom, Mr Oyetunde Ojo; the convener, South West Agenda for Asiwaju 2023 (SWAGA), said no fewer than 10,000 traditional chieftaincy title holders signed the compendium to support Tinubu’s candidature.
Mr Ojo said that the body language of the baales, mogajis, obas and groups showed that they were in support of Tinubu for president.
