Ibadan chief donates N2m to fix Olubadan’s palace road

A member of the Olubadan Advisory Council, Ekerin Balogun, High Chief Olubunmi Isioye, has donated N2 million for the rehabilitation of the road leading to the palace of the Olubadan, Oba Lekan Balogun.

The rehabilitation of internal roads which are classified as Trunk C is the responsibility of the local government council as enshrined in the Nigerian constitution and state by-laws.

This was disclosed after a meeting of the Olubadan-in-Council held at his Alarere Palace on Tuesday.

The council also lifted the ban on the promotion of high chiefs, installation of baales, mogajis and others with effect from June, 2022.
