Eleven Nigerians and two corporate organizations were yesterday honoured with the national productivity order of merit award by the Federal Government. 
The award is  part of activities to mark this year’s National Productivity Day (NPD), organized annually  by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity.
Those that got the awards include: Mrs. Uwemedimo Edet  Asomogugha, Engr. Saleh Dunonma,  Mr. Ajibola Olasehinde Olabide,  Commissioner of Police(CP) Marcus Danladi,  Mr. Ijomah Azubuike,  Mr. Danliti Yahaya Isah.
 Others are Comrade Lateeef Idowu Oyelekan, Boboye Olayemi Oyeyemi, Mr. Anthony Chinwuba Ani, Dr. Tunji Olaopa and Dr. John Alfa. The two corporate organizations chosen for the awards are Lubcon Ltd and Artee Group.
Speaking at the award ceremony held in Abuja, Permanent Secretary Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity Dr. Clement Illoh said that the awardees were selected after a thorough screening exercise was carried out by an independent committee made up of eminent Nigerians from diverse background.
