The senator representing Kwara Central at the National Assembly, Dr Ibrahim Oloriegbe, has said he will not support the re-election bid of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
While addressing supporters at a political meeting over the fallout of the recent primaries where he lost out, the senator who is the Chairman Senate Committee on Health, excused himself from participating in party activities in the state.
He said, “I will only be part of the national campaigns of the party to work for our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“So, if he (governor) feels betrayal is the best way to pay me back, God will judge it. I am a leader in this party and if he (AbdulRazaq) doesn’t want me to return, he should have said so and we sit to talk about it.
“Between now and June 2023, I remain the senator and will continue to serve my people. But the only difference is that I won’t shoulder the burden of the party.”
