The candidate of the APC for Ebonyi North senatorial district, Onyekachi Nwebonyi, yesterday insisted that he will not step down for the former governor of the state, Sen. Sam Egwu, ahead of 2023 elections.
This follows speculations in some quarters of the state that the former governor, who is currently the senator representing Ebonyi North Senatorial district at the Red Chamber, had approached the APC candidate to step down for him.
