The executive secretary of Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Dr Yusuf Yakubu Alrigasiyu, has vowed not to allow political enemies of the state governor, Nasiru El-rufai, to sabotage the 2022 Hajj operations in the state.
Being a representative of the governor at the agency, Alrigasiyu said he will do everything possible to ensure the operation is successful.
Speaking shortly after assuming office at the agency’s headquarters in the state, Alrigassiyu claimed that there were political enemies that may capitalize on a little mistake to attack the governor and the leadership of the agency.
“I’m here as the representative of the governor and so I will not allow his political enemies within or outside the agency to sabotage our job.
“Such people are waiting to capitalize on our errors to either attack us or the governor. This I will not allow to happen,” he said.
He solicited the support of the agency’s staff to have a successful tenure at the agency, promising to treat all staff equally.
While saying he believed in hard work, he called on the staff to be dedicated to their work.
The acting overseer of the board, Hajiya Hannatu Zailani, assured him of the support of staff to record success in the 2022 hajj operations.
