The Coordinator of The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) in Katsina Naufal Ahmad, has promised to work with relevant organisations to boost the capacity of youths in the state.
He said this will make them to become a force to reckon with in the future in businesses, entrepreneurship and administration.
Ahmad said through the YALI Network, young Africans can connect with other leaders in their community, access free online courses in topics ranging from climate change to entrepreneurship to human rights, and receive invitations to special events.
He said the recent launch of The YALI Hub in Katsina, was something the youths had longed for. “We have always looked forward to this and we are excited to have achieved it,” Ahmad noted.
Being part of YALI Network offers young people a unique opportunity for personal development, professional, career and business growth as well as teaches civic leadership, social entrepreneurship among others.
“This came at a time when young people are a majority in the state but eat left-behind in terms of education and entrepreneurship, I hope the initiative will give the much needed support and direction to Katsina youths,” he said.
