A former Nigerian ambassador to Ethiopia and African Union, Mrs Nkoyo Toyo, has said her aspiration to be governor of Cross River State is to enable her to reset and rebuild collapsed and mismanaged institutions in the state
Speaking with journalists in Calabar, the former House of Representatives member said she has the capacity, experience, knowledge and temperament to reposition the struggling state.

“I want to rebuild the institutions that have been mismanaged over the years; it is time of reconstruction. This is why I am coming out on the basis of recovery of the state; to re-set and finally re-position her.
“That’s my mission as first female governor of the state,” she said.
Toyo, a PDP aspirant said her government will restore the state as the actual destination for business and pleasure.
