I will implement transition c’ttee’s report — Aliyu

The governor-elect of Sokoto State, Ahmed Aliyu, has promised to implement the report of the transition committee submitted to him Sunday.

Aliyu commended members of the committee for their steadfastness and maturity in the face of multiple challenges, saying, “We know that the transition committee of the outgoing government did not cooperate with you.

“We will study the report carefully with the aim of implementing it.”

Earlier, the Chairman of the committee, Ambassador Abubakar Makama, lamented that the transition committee set up by Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal did not cooperate with their committee despite the governor’s directive.
