Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, has refuted a media report that he and other lawmakers were given N-Power job slots, saying it was fake news.

The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management had announced the registration of a new set of Batch-C beneficiaries following the disengagement of thousands of graduates comprising of both Batch A and B volunteers benefiting from the scheme.

An online publication, SaharaReporters, had reported on its website that the ministry has allocated about 50,000 slots to federal lawmakers and other politicians including the Senate President.
