A former spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olisa Metuh, has said that he will use the rest of his life serving God and mankind, revealing that he saw hell while in prison.

Metuh spent 10 months at the National Correctional Centre, Kuje, FCT over issues bordering on money laundering.

Speaking on Wednesday, during a reception organised for him by the PDP in Awka, the Anambra State capital, Metuh said he saw hell in prison and has learnt how to serve God and humanity.

“I thank God for giving me the grace to see you again. God has shown me his mercy and love. I have been in the deepest ebb of life and God restored me. I have been with the devil and God saved me. I have decided to commit my life to serving God throughout the rest of my life,” he said.

Metuh said while in prison, he learnt to be humble and to forgive people. He urged people to try to forgive one another.

Welcoming Metuh at the PDP office in Awka, chairman of the party in the state, Chief Ndubisi Nwobu, said Metuh has passed through hell, noting that every great man must pass through challenges.
