I never said I was jailed over struggle for emancipation of FCT people – Aduda

Senator Philip Aduda representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has said he was never jailed during the struggle for the emancipation of the people of the territory.

Aduda, while speaking in an interview with our reporter on Wednesday, said he only recalled how some people, including the incident chairman of AMAC, Abdullahi Candido, and Danladi Etsu Zhin, former chairman of Kuje, were locked up while championing the cause of the people of the FCT.

“I only said in my speech at the 2021 world indigenous day celebration in Abuja that some of our people, including the AMAC chairman, were locked up. There was no place in my speech where I said I was jailed,” he said.
