The Benenise woman, Fati Bariba, whose incestuous relationship with one of her sons, Adamu, produced three children, has pleaded for forgiveness, attributing her action to psychological problem.
Although she has been repatriated to Benin Republic, our reporter gathered on Thursday that she told the operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) during interrogation that she had psychological problems.
According to the source who was part of the team that interrogated her in Nigeria, Fati told operatives that she had been suffering from the illness for more than 15 years.
The source said, “She didn’t say what type of psychological problem she has. But outcome of the investigation revealed that she was not new to the act.
Recall that Fati, Adamu and Boni were arrested last Thursday after Boni caught his younger brother making love to their mother in their farm.
