US-based Nigerian Rapper, Lamboginny, has taken to Instagram to share his grass to grace story.

In a post, Lamboginny recalled how he grew up in a mud house, later moved to a one room apartment before leaving to squat with his friends.

According to him, he squatted with friends for seven years and had to trek to the studio many times because he didn’t have transport fare.

He wrote on his verified Instagram page, “Grew up in a mud house with my grandparents in Igando, Lagos. We later moved to a face-me-I-face-you house in Ikotun, Lagos. Squatted with friends for seven years and later got a one bedroom apartment. I used to walk to the studio coz I was so broke and couldn’t afford transportation @ayo_olla saw me walking to the studio one night at Opebi and gave me a ride, I always had a smile on my face so many didn’t know what I was going through.

“One day I will tell my full story and show the world the exact location of my journey. Woke up this morning thinking about my journey and I’m grateful for where I’m today with my beautiful wife. Sharing this to encourage and inspire anyone out there going through life. Stay strong, work smart, pray, be kind and never give up.”(sic)

Lamboginny is married to an American lady, they both live in the US.

He shared a photo of himself in his current home in America and thanked God for how far he has brought him.
