I don’t believe my daughter was killed, says Hauwa’s father

The parents of slain aid worker Hauwa Liman has said that they don’t believe that their daughter was killed by insurgents.

While reacting to the reports claiming Hauwa had been killed in Maiduguri on Tuesday, her father Mohammed Liman said they needed proof to ascertain the claims.

“I didn’t believes that she was killed because there is no evidence, even she had been killed, they should release her dead body to me so that I conduct proper Islamic burial for her,” Mohammed said.
