Sanusi dismissed the assertions while responding to a reporter’s question after he paid a courtesy visit to Kano State governor, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau and the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero, yesterday. “I did not advise him to cut the Seven-Point Agenda to two. I said that if we focus and prioritise two or three things over the next few years, we will achieve much more,” said the CBN governor.

On the issue of reducing interest rate, Malam Sanusi said when customers have contract with the banks, they should make sure that what they are charged what they contracted. Continuing, the CBN boss explained: “the CBN has always made sure that if anyone is charged a hidden charge, that bank refunds and that sanctions are applied.”

While canvassing support and encouragement of the people of the state, Sanusi said throughout his career, he has been receiving the support of the good people of Kano State.
