One of the suspects arrested in connection with the death of Abdulkareem Na’Allah, son of Senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah, has said he used the proceeds from the crime to buy bags of rice.
He said this when the police paraded him in Kaduna on Thursday.

Nasiru Salisu, the 27-year-old suspect, said he was lured into the crime by Bashir Muhammad, the prime suspect.
“I bought 23 bags of rice with my share of the money but it was intercepted by customs,” he said.
Muhammad said their plan was to steal the vehicle of the deceased but he struggled with them, resulting in his death.
