On Wednesday morning she took to her Instagram story to say she is grateful for her failed marriage, she wrote, “Those who know me know I am more than a dancer. I explore my full humanity through dance. I am an advocate for human excellence and productivity, my marriage failed for so many reasons and I am grateful I failed because I was blind and now I see. Follow me and I go show you wetin I see so you won’t fall like me. And if you do…. You shall rise…. I am Kaffy…. Still I rise.”(sic)

While revealing her divorce to the world, the dancer said, “I have always wanted to see my ex be the best version of himself and even breaking up the marriage was also to see that we both grew into what we really are supposed to be. Marriage is supposed to be an alignment of destinies driving towards a place that God wants us to be and mine really did not work out that way.”
