Neighbours said the late Jose had over the years been doubting his wife’s faithfulness to their marriage.

A neighbour said, “Jose had always been a jealous husband and picked fights with his wife whenever he saw her talking to any man.’’

On the day he killed his wife, Jose was said to have searched through her mobile phone.

City & Crime further gathered that the late wife, a registrar at the Suleja General Hospital, was the breadwinner of the family as the husband was jobless since his herbal medicine business crumbled.

The late Jose was from Ondo State while the late Chidinma hailed from Imo State. The late couple married in 2014 and had a son.

The DPO of Suleja “A”, CSP Michael Katumba, confirmed the incident, adding that the matter had been reported at the state police command in Minna.
