Huawei expands footprint in Africa’s tech space

Huawei has unveiled its latest strides towards ushering in the intelligent era under the theme: “Unleash Data Power Towards the Intelligent Era”, at an event spearheaded by the Vice President of Huawei Nigeria’s ICT Marketing and Solution Sales, Gavin Geng.

He emphasised the company’s pivotal role in Africa’s tech landscape, saying, “With over 20 years of relentless innovation, Huawei has not only flourished but has also become the foremost tech economy on the continent, boasting a workforce of over 4,000 IT professionals.”

Geng also emphasised Nigeria’s significance in Huawei’s growth trajectory, citing the country’s vast potential as a catalyst for their success.

IT Director of Huawei’s Enterprise Business Group, Mr Dingliusheng, shed light on Huawei’s substantial investments in storage solutions over the past two decades.

He said, “These investments are geared towards empowering consumers to focus on their tasks seamlessly, without having any storage concerns.”

The Huawei Intelligent Data Storage Portfolio, as outlined by Dingliusheng, encompasses an array of cutting-edge solutions, including All-Flash Storage, Data Protection Solutions, Hybrid Flash Storage, Ransomware Protection Storage Solutions and Data Centre Virtualisation Solutions.

Senior Director of Huawei’s Enterprise Storage Market Solution, Mr Chang Bang, unveiled the revolutionary Flash-to-Flash-to-Anything (F2F2X) feature.
