‘How youths can deepen civic engagement’

The Foundation for Rural Proletariat and Community Advancement (RuralPro) has urged Nigerian youths to learn from the experiences of youths in advanced countries to better their skill in civic engagements for societal and national development.

The founder of RuralPro, Mr Ojooluwa Ibiloye, made the call Wednesday in Abuja at the youth civic activism in Nigeria workshop organised by the foundation and the Center for the Future of Arizona.

It was organised in partnership with the Reciprocal Exchange component of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders and the U.S Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
