The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps in Cross River State, Maikano Hassan, has confirmed a car accident in which a woman was killed in Calabar on Sunday.
Hassan said the Toyota Highlander the woman was driving skidded off Murtala Muhammed Road and crashed into a ditch.
He said, “Though the woman was rushed to a hospital, she was pronounced dead minutes later due to injuries sustained from the incident.”
It was gathered that the woman was pursuing her husband who was alleged to be with a “side chick” in his car.
