How to rescue Nigeria

Nigeria is in a difficult situation because of bad governance, corruption, selfishness, regionalism, among others.

But we all have a role to play in ending these.

We can recall that our past leaders joined hands to fight for our freedom from the colonialists.

Our major challenge now is the insecurity in almost all the nooks and crannies of Nigeria. People are being killed, raped and kidnapped almost on daily basis.

The responsibility of bringing an end to the menace facing the country is in our hands and it’s through the voting in of competent persons to steer the affairs of the country irrespective of where they come from.

The media should also engage in enlightening the populace on the importance of exercising their franchise as the general elections is around the corner.

Our major role as Nigerians is to join hands together and use our PVCs to vote out corrupt and incompetent leaders and bring competent hands into power irrespective of our differences. A Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba or any tribe who is competent and ready to give us good governance should be elected.

Nigeria is tired of rotating power among elders who ruled our fathers and are  ruling us now and planning to rule the future generations and have nothing for the country but for themselves.

I believe once Nigerians could do this our challenges will be surmounted.
