The Lead Consultant and Chief Executive Officer of the Knowledge and Resource Centre, Dr Mosun Belo-Olusoga, has said that the present business environment is characterized by uncertainty.
She spoke at the 40th Omolayole Lecture Series hosted by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) with the theme: “Developing a Game-Changing Leader’s Mindset for Business Transformation in a VUCA World”.
She stated that leaders play a crucial role in adapting to the volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous business environment.
Belo-Olusoga said, “Transformative leaders must embrace change and demonstrate resilience, as these qualities enable them to navigate challenges effectively. By fostering a culture of adaptability within their organisations, leaders can inspire their teams to innovate and thrive in the face of uncertainty.

President and Chairman of the Governing Council of CIPM, Mallam Ahmed Gobir, stated that the annual lecture has had significant impact over the past four decades in shaping management practices across Nigeria.
He said, “This platform has shaped the careers of many professionals, influenced policy and set the agenda for the next generation of leaders by igniting debates, fostering collaboration and inspiring actionable change in industries that form the backbone of Nigeria’s economy.”
