Residents Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State of the two major faith became their brothers’ keepers on Tuesday as they rescued each other who when violence erupted over the blockade of Ahmadu Bello Way by EndSARS protesters.
The violence occurred when a group blocked the road leading to the City Centre in the metropolis, an action that another group disagreed and resulted in unrest.

Our correspondent, who was at the scene where the violence started saw how the Muslim faithful would escort Christians, who were held up in Muslim-dominated areas for their businesses when the incident started to a border where they would be safe.
The same thing with their Christian counterparts who also escorted Muslims who were held up in the Christian dominated areas.
Three persons were reported to have died and cars and buildings were damaged during the incident.
The State Governor, Simon Lalong, declared a 24-hours curfew and held emergency meetings with all stakeholders to douse the tension.
