Tunde Fatuntele, a Nigerian digital marketer and social media influencer, has said that his greatest breakthrough came from a deal he signed with Samsung in 2015.

Fatuntele, who said this during a recent interaction with the media, disclosed that the business engagement was the biggest thing to happen to his career, which also helped to shoot him to the limelight.

He thereby charged that “bigger brands should also expose digital marketers and influencers to make it big”, as such engagement he said he had with the multinational company was a turning point in his marketing job.

Fatuntele said, this singular encounter, opened more job opportunities for him, noting that it is the kind of support creative persons needed to succeed and be useful to the society.

“It was from the breakthrough that I’ve had multiple jobs coming to me, because Samsung gave me a platform to showcase my talent and what I was capable of doing with the opportunity,” Fatuntele said.

He, however, advised well meaning individuals, corporate bodies and government to invest in the talents of millions of unemployed youths in Nigeria, so they can be useful to themselves, their communities and Nigeria at large.

“There are thousands of youths who wants to live the streets and be recognised. Brands need to identify them and help in that aspect of growth,” Fatuntele said.
