How Buratai wiped our tears — Osun monarch

The Olowu of Kuta in Osun State, Oba Hammed Adekunle Oyelude Makama, on Tuesday said the former Chief of Army Staff, Lt-Gen. Yusuf Tukur Buratai (rtd.) wiped the tears of the people of the town and its environs with the construction of a bridge on the river that separated the communities.

He said the bridge constructed by the military has reconnected the town to Ede and other communities and aided development of socio-economic activities in the area.

Prominent indigenes of Kuta and top personalities in the state join Oba Oyelude Makama for an interdenominational thanksgiving he organised in honour of Lt-Gen. Yusuf Tukur Buratai (rtd.) at his palace in Kuta.
