After weeks and months of auditions, evictions and drama, Bayelsa-born Kingdom Kroseide has been crowned Nigerian Idol 2021, a contest sponsored by BIGI drink produced by Rite Foods Ltd.

On 24th April 2021, 68 contestants headed to the theatre for the weeks of the music contest with only 17 contestants progressing to the next round. Later, 11 contestants were elevated to the live performances within the 10 weeks duration.

Kingdom’s rendition of ‘Gentleman’ by Fela Kuti, coupled with his duet with Cobhams Asuquo on the track one-hit ignited a euphoric feeling that erupted ecstatic moments from the judges who gave a standing ovation during the performance.
