Bandits have shot two persons in Adamawa village in Sabon Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto.
The leader of the vigilante group in the area, Musa Muhammad (aka Blacky), said the attack took place Sunday night.

The bandits were said to have the same night invaded another village, Rambadawa, where they beat residents and raped several women.
Daily Trust gathered that the assailants also stormed Dantassako and robbed residents.
At Nasarawa and Gidan Idi villages, the bandits were said to have robbed two residents of their motorcycles.
Our reporter also gathered that several bandits groups were operating in the area under different leaders.
Some of the bandits’ leaders include Nagona, Jambo Baki, Useini Dankwano, Dan Bakkolo and Turji among others.
Sabon Birni has been an epicentre of banditry in the eastern part of Sokoto State in recent times.
There was a time that bandits reportedly killed 80 persons in one night and dislodged several others.
