Delta State Police Command has explained how a three-man armed robbery gang robbed an entire household in Oghara, with a toy gun and an iron rod.
The Police said the suspects namely Choice Macaulay,26, Endurance Ejokirehie, 27, and Junior Macaulay, 21, allegedly broke into a house on Old Benin Road, Oghara, around 2 am on August 8, 2021, and made away with phones valued at N400, 000.

Acting Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State Police Command, Edafe Bright, in a statement, said on hearing the sad event, the Divisional Police Officer in Oghara swung into action, and detailed operatives to investigate and bring the armed robbers to book.
Bright said the detectives, through intelligence-led operation, arrested the following suspects at an Indian hemp smoking joint.
He said exhibits recovered from them include three phones, a dummy gun and an iron rod used for the robbery.
“Suspects confessed to the crime and the victims have identified the stolen phones as theirs.
“On further investigation, it was discovered that one of the suspects, Choice Macaulay, who is the leader of the gang, was arrested before and charged to court but was later released.
“The suspects led the detectives to their hideout where one locally-made gun and two live cartridges were dug out from the ground where it was buried.
“The investigation is ongoing,” he added.
