The city of Houston recently honoured Nigerian megastar Davido. The award-winning megastar is presently on the American leg of his Timeless Tour, with his most recent stop in Houston, Texas, where he sold out the Toyota Arena, which seats 21000 people.
Councilman Edward Pollard of Houston, who attended the event on July 7, 2023, declared that day to be Davido Day in the city of Houston. The proclamation was issued by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner in a letter that captured Davido’s effect as a superstar and his contributions to the music business through his popular songs.
