Housemaid’s death: Employer’s poor health stalls trial

The health condition of the suspected killer of a 16-year-old housemaid has caused the postponement of the court sitting earlier scheduled for Tuesday.

The accused person, Fatima Hamza, was charged for allegedly killing her housemaid, Khadija Rabi’u, over Khadija’s inability to do the house chores as she was instructed to.

The court was told by correctional facilities workers through the state counsel that the suspect’s health had deteriorated as such they could not produce her before the court.
