A 16-year-old housemaid, Bahijja Gombe, has committed suicide by hanging herself at her foster parent’s home where she was working as domestic staff.
Bahijja was said to have committed the act last Saturday night.

Her body was discovered hanging at about 10 pm in her room.
Sources told our reporter that the cause of her death is still unknown but has caused serious apprehension in Zoo Road area of the metropolis where it happened.
Confirming the incidence, the spokesman of the state police command, DSP Abdullahi Kiyawa, said her corpse had been moved to the state-owned Murtala Muhammed General Hospital.
